The current state of the resource potential of gold mineralization of the Middle Dnipro greenstone region is considered. For the geological and metallogenic features, it fully corresponds to the world’s highly productive analogs for gold – granite-greenstone regions (provinces) of Canada, Australia, South Africa. The deposits of granite-greenstone regions are characterized by a geological and industrial type of ores – gold-bearing mineralized zones, which is one of the most productive and provides more than 10% of the world’s gold production. The morphology of the ore bodies of deposits of this type is extremely complex and diverse. For the most part, they are represented by complex veins and their connections, vein zones and zones of sulfide interspersed ores. Gold-bearing veins reach a thickness of 5 m and extend intermittently for a distance of up to 2 km. Most of the veins are composed mainly of quartz with a small amount of carbonates and a significant amount of sulfides. All greenstone structures of the region are highly promising for the identification of gold mineralization due to the totality of predictive criteria and prospecting signs. The current state with respect to their gold content corresponds to the degree of study of these structures. According to the authors, the greenstone structures of the region as a whole, as well as individual gold-bearing objects, have not been sufficiently studied. They require more detailed geological exploration work. But the state does not have enough funds for systemic research. Therefore, it is necessary to involve private companies for further study of the territory regarding gold mineralization. To provide subsoil users with information on the availability of potential investment objects, the article contains a list of promising areas of gold mineralization. On these areas, resources have already been calculated (mainly promising P₁ + P₂), and a general geological and economic assessment for P₂ and primary for P₁ has been carried out.
