Nacionalidades en pasarela. Miss universo: mujer, etnicidad y territorio

Abstract

Thispaper does some readings that are implicit in an international beauty pageant, in this case Miss Universe, understanding it as a platform for visibility and legitimization of countries and territories. To talk about these questions, in first place, is shown the profile and requirements that exist for being a beauty queen, and later analyse how this nationalities on the runway end up creating dialogues related with politics and ethnicity, insofar that is talking about women that are performing their nationsby her beauty.
