Imitación y auto-comentario en Salcedo Coronel

Abstract

This article analyses several examples of poetic imitation that Salcedo Coronel included in some of his most famous compositions. The identification of the models (classical and Italian) that spurred the creativity of the erudite poet from Seville has a singular origin, since it was the gongorine commentator himself who collected such glosses among his annotations to the Soledad primera.
