Study the relationships between psychological empowerment with level of distress in occupying war handicapped

Introduction: Today, distress is among the problems that modern civilized human in all areas of life with its struggles. Various studies have shown that distress for organizations and individuals working follow costs and heavy losses. Employees who are empowered with high efficiency and effectiveness would benefit to yourself and their organizations . Employee empowerment is an essential management tool that can be used to directed human resources for increase productivity. Purpose : The present study investigated the relationship between psychological empowerment (Includes a meaning , competence , effect and self-determination ) and distress of working veterans . Materials and Methods : Statistical Society of this study is veterans who are employed in government offices in Qom . statiscal socity were 77 individual and statiscal sample are 51 individuals who were randomly selected . in order to measure the dimensions of psychological empowerment from Esperitzer psychological empowerment questionnaire (1995) and for measure distress level , Rondelof and Blackburn questionnaire (1990) have been used. Results : Results from the Pearson correlation test confirmed negative correlation between the dimensions of psychological empowerment with distress as well as the state of distress and psychological empowerment in a society with the help of One-Sample T Test were evaluated that The results of this test showed that the average worker distress is down and state of psychological empowerment and its dimensions except dimention of competence are moderate and state of competence dimension is sufficient . Conclusion : Overall, the results of this study suggest that the psychological dimension of empowerment, there is a negative relationship with the distress and this indicates that raising the level of psychological empowerment reduces stress in employees are veterans .
