ELEMENTS OF GAME THEORY USED IN DIDACTICS
Abstract
This article proposes to bring forth a method that, at least after the end of the primary school, disappears almost entirely of school practice: the play method. Among other participatory learning teaching methods, learning through play can be regarded as an effective one, especially at young ages, due to the beneficial effects that it can bring. Learning through play is an activity which generates enthusiasm and it is conducted with the agreement of the participants, in an established framework, with a set of rules freely accepted and respected. There are a few directions proposed for the use of the method and there are given significant examples of how the games can be used in an everyday lesson.
