Abstract: Maulana Fakhruddin Dehlavi (d. 1199 AH) was a political, social and spiritual leader of the eighteenth century AD who adorned the backward people of the Indian subcontinent with knowledge and wisdom. To this end, he undertook the task of imparting scientific and spiritual training to all sections of the society. He has also paid special attention to the most sensitive of these sections of the society, namely poets and other literary people. Since he himself had knowledge and cognition of Sufism and spirituality as well as high literary tastes, he has played an important role in the education and training of Urdu and Persian poets. Many trustworthy poets of the classical period who directly benefited from his school of thought are included, such as Ghulam Hamdani Mushafi, Mir Mohammadi Bedara and Mir Mohammadi Mail, etc. This article will provide an overview of Maulana's literary services.
