UKRAINE'S PLACE IN FOOD SECURITY

Abstract

Purpose. The paper discusses the main threats to food security on a global scale, as well as their possible solutions.Methodology. The research is based on the statistical and analytical information.Results. The study revealed the potential of Ukraine to take one of the key places among the countries that provide the food needs of a growing world population.Practical implications. The results can be applied in planning and developing strategies for agricultural development.
