Los engaños del medrar. A propósito de Las harpías en Madrid

Abstract

The Castillo Solorzano’s collection shows the scams organized by four women. The aim of this article is a new approach to the Courtly Novel. While providing amusement for the reader, they confirm the influence of political theory as Machiavelanism and Tacitism and they are an example of heterogeneity in the Novel genre.
