Non-traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) secondary torupture of a cerebral aneurysm is an event associated with highmortality and morbidity. 85% of this SAH are due to intracranial aneurysm rupture, so early identification and localization is importantto decrease the possibilities of vasospasm and rebleeding, with better management planning and execution. This is a descriptivestudy, analyzing radiological archives from September 2004 to July2005 of a series of 9 patients with SAH .The accuracy of Angio CTwas compared to an Angio DSA in patients with non-traumatic SAH.Results: When comparing Angio CT using Angio DSA as reference, the following data was obtained: Sensitivity: 80,0% CI (69,7-90,2%),Specificity: 66,6% CI (49,6-83,6%), PPV: 80% CI (69,7-90,2%, anda NPV: 66,6 CI (49,6-83,6%). Conclusions: Angio CT is a usefuldiagnostic method to diagnose cerebral aneurysms in our institution.
