Features of development of new direction exploration work in the eastern region Ukraine. Article 4. The methods for the search for hydrocarbons in the base complex

Abstract

The features methods of exploration for oil and gas unconventional oil and gas traps base complex (BC) in the Dnieper-Donets sliding. New search paradigm consists of four main elements: 1 – modern dualistic hypotheses about the origin of hydrocarbons, where different genesis variants are compared with each other; 2 – the structural features of unconventional traps of BC; 3 – 3D seismic survey in conjunction with the search of potential fields methods (gravimetric, magnetic prospecting, electricalprospecting) as tools for their identification and preparation for deep drilling; 4 – random deviation with any direction and angles drilling for the productive traps searching and exploration in BC. So this technique is fundamentally different from similar methods for oil and gas traps in the sedimentary cover. Productive traps are tending to be placed in BC asymmetrically to sedimentary deposits. Therefore, the entire discoveries in BC occurring during the development traps in the sedimentary cover were casual.
