Spectroscopic properties of the B meson
Abstract
Investigation of the B(bq̄); q = u, d meson properties is carried out using variational method within phenomenological quark antiquark potential(coulomb plus power) model using the Gaussian wave function. O(1/m) correction to the potential energy term and relativistic corrections to the kinetic energy term of the hamiltonian are incorporated. Spin-orbit, spin-spin and tensor interactions are employed to obtain the mass spectra. Various other properties such as the decay constants, e1 and m1 transitions are also obtained
