Représentations du jardin chez Aude et Hugues Corriveau : non-lieu ou entre-lieu ?
Abstract
Through description, many literary texts offer well-tended gardens, but this spatial figure shifts to a somewhat different state when taken over by short-story telling. Because of its brevity, the short story tends to represent blurred landscapes, thus creating an evanescent place for fiction to arise. The study of two recent quebecois short stories situating their plot in or around a garden will exemplify this shift towards an uncertain territory.
