Establishment of a government and implementation of power by a person or a political group and the acceptance of the authority of government by people always have been the main concern of rulers in various societies which this phenomena is called the political legitimacy . Since the Buyids dynasty succeed to governorship of an extensive area in short time and since they did not have a pre-plan idea about how to rule and manage the land under their rule, thus had to follow the ancient Iranian system of governorship, in particular, Sasanian whom were well-known in fourth century A.H. Thus, in order to be accepted by their people, they in first step, try to legitimize their rule by using the concept of political legitimacy of government in ancient Iran, including the concept of the king's divinity origin, the concept of inheritance and justice. In this research, based on historical sources and research and by using historical research methods it has been tied to examine Buyids attempt to legitimate their rule in Iran during fourth centuries.
