Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Virtual CPR Training in Midwives of Shahid Hasheminezhad Hospital in Mashhad

Background and Objective: Organizations pay special attention to effective in-service training for their growth and excellence. On the other hand, the practical and clinical skills of midwives are complex activities and the correct implementation of many of these skills ensures the patient's life and training must be principled and effective. In this study, the effectiveness of virtual cardiopulmonary resuscitation training course in midwives of Shahid Hasheminejad Hospital in Mashhad has been evaluated. Methods: This study is applicable in terms of purpose and in terms of collection is fielding and in terms of implementation is descriptive cross-sectional. The statistical population of the study is all midwives of Shahid Hasheminezhad Hospital in Mashhad in 2021. Findings: A survey of midwives' satisfaction with the CPR training course shows that 82.6% of midwives had a high and very high level of satisfaction with the training course, and therefore the satisfaction of the community with the training course was high. Also, examining the difference between pre-test (8.94 ± 16.01) and post-test (26.41 ± 20.53) showed that the average score of midwives after the test has increased. Conclusion: Implementation of a virtual cardiopulmonary resuscitation training course at the reaction level (midwives' satisfaction); It is effective at the level of learning and it seems that Kirk Patrick model can be a suitable way to evaluate the effectiveness of virtual training in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
