Volumetric mass 3D modeling in lateritic deposits using (A, U, θ) estimators
Abstract
To model volumetric mass in lateritic deposits which takes into account geochemical composition and spatial relationships a UPD estimator from (A, U, Θ) family is proposed. Its satisfactory implementation in Punta Gorda deposit with a compact support that takes into account the territorial domain of the field, the vertical layers and a reasonable number of samples close to the point where it is estimated every time, allowed carrying out a cross-validation procedure that shows more than 90% of the estimates have differences no greater than 20% with respect to the measured values.
