Leuchtturmprojekte an Medizinbibliotheken: „Systematische Literaturrecherche an der Bibliothek der Medizinischen Fakultät Mannheim der Universität Heidelberg“

Abstract

[english] In the past years, the Library for the Medical Faculty of Mannheim of the University of Heidelberg has been confronted with an increased demand for extensive advice on complex literature searches. Therefore we developed a service called “systematic literature searching”, in which the Library’s information specialists support clinicians and researchers with their methodical knowledge in developing optimal search strategies and efficiently managing literature references. This new service is provided in gradual steps according to our users’ needs and integrates previously existing library services.
