Abstract

The features of acquisition of library collection of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine in 1991 - 2000 open up in the article, conditioned sociopolitical transformations in a country, by the changes of Library status and deepening of its functions, absence of the stable financing and search of alternative acquisition sources.
