A study of the history of the nations of the world reveals that the main cause of the rise and fall, prosperity and misery of nations and success and failure is the major process of stabilization and instability of economics. Even today, countries that are economically stable and prosperous are considered superpowers and developed. In contrast, countries that neglect their economic situation are included in the list of underdeveloped and backward countries. Economics is a hot topic of this age. One of the main reasons is that after the European occupation of the world, the concepts of economics have come to dominate all other angles of life. Our education system is also under the influence of economic activities. Religion is also under its control. In short, economic matters cover everything. In this context, it is of utmost importance to consider the economic values in the light of Islamic teachings. It is also needed because the two economically dominant systems of the world are both claiming to shape their political and economic system on the basis of denial of religion. Capitalism or Communism is the system that has engulfed the whole society. According to the people of the West, denial of religion is necessary for social progress and all matters must be done in the context of material approach for the solution of social problems. Shah Waliullah (RA) was a great Islamic Scholar who made great efforts for the revival of the Islamic economic system. He also formulated some principles of economic renewal. According to that principles, implementation of Islamic economic system can be ensured. He also declared that the Islamic economic system is the only system that is indispensable for the welfare of the nations of the world. In this article, there is an overview of some principles which Shah Wali ullah formulated for revival of Islamic economics.
