Citazione come salvezza. Echi classici nella poesia di Choman Hardi
Abstract
Characters from Greek mythology and echoes from Latin literature permeate English-language verse by Kurdish poet Choman Hardi, who compares the widows of her country to Homer’s Penelope and reworks Catullian motifs to give voice to a people without a homeland. Once again, the cultural heritage of the classics is an effective instrument for representing reality.
