The Developments and Measures of the Intellectual Property Information Service in University Libraries in China

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Comply with the national intellectual property strategic planning and policies development, and improve the practice development of library-led intellectual property information service centers in China's academic universities. [Method/process] This paper explores the current situation of intellectual property information services in 102 academic universities through the network research and provides some solutions to the intellectual property information service centers of academic universities. [Result/conclusion] In order to further promote the construction of the intellectual property information service centers of academic universities, we need to pay attention to the following aspects: management policies, institutional settings, functional roles, cooperative organizations and service content systems.
