The nature of the soil is influenced by several factors such as the climatic factor (erosion, rainfall, etc.). In this work we studied the effects of irrigation on the physicochemical composition of the soil from two different irrigated and non-irrigated sites (el Massreb or Kasser ouled débe and Douiret of the governorate of Tataouine). We carried out a particle size analysis (soil texture) using a laser device. On the other hand, the physicochemical parameters of the soil were determined (pH, electrical conductivity, total limestone, active limestone and organic matter). Our results showed that the soils studied belong to the same grain size shift and that irrigation has an effect on physicochemical parameters such as pH and electrical conductivity.
