Abstract

Giuseppe De Blasiis (1832-1914), a patriot and professor of "National History" at the University of Naples, distinguished himself in the search for documents about Southern Italy in the medieval and modern ages in order to find evidences of the Italian unification process according to a Romantic and Risorgimental idea.
