Application of Fault Tree Analysis Technique Based on Isograph to Railway Vehicles

Abstract

By taking the saloon door unexpectedly opening of the train on the main line as the top event, the fault tree based on Isograph was established and the fault tree analysis was carried out. Method and process of the fault tree analysis based on Isograph was described in detail and the result of the fault tree analysis was discussed, which validated the application value of fault tree analysis in the area of safety analysis, reliability analysis and risk assessment for the railway vehicles.
