The Phenomenon of Folk-Ethno-Rock in Russian Song Culture and Prospects for its Development in the Class of Pop-Jazz Vocals

As is known popular music art is a combination of a multitude of genres and styles and it also unites the vocal art palette. Today pop music art is a synthesis of various vocal styles including folk music, jazz, art song elements of rock music, romance, chanson, musical, ballad, and other. Thanks to Some combinations found numerous admirers thanks to the interaction and became independent artistic events of modern popular music with folk and ethnic rock among them. The synthesis of these genres in our country happened due to the richest folk heritage and boost of interest for folk song art and consistent growth of rock music lovers. In recent decades pop-jazz vocal teachers increasingly meet the fact that folk song performers are willing to master basic techniques of rock vocal but at the same time the phenomenon of ethnic rock has not been studied well in Russian art criticism and pedagogy of music education that makes it difficult for the students of secondary schools and institutions of higher education to master it. This article gives a brief history of this very genre development peculiarities in Russian and foreign music culture to help teachers increase their methodological skills and it also analyses the success of leading bands and singers performing ethnic rock. Solutions for the tasks related to the mastering a of special graded teaching methodologies complex where each of them is focused on mastery of a special style direction are indicated.
