Internet access technologies in homes are essential for the Telecommunications sector, for this reason, students from higher education institutions must have effective mechanisms to acquire skills in the implementation and testing of broadband access networks, more specifically networks PON for FTTH technologies. This document presents the development of a didactic test bench for a Telecommunications laboratory made up of equipment and elements associated with the implementation of a PON network and a sequence of learning guides. Which allow the assimilation of knowledge and skills in topics such as: installation of the administration manager, operation and maintenance of equipment and configuration of different types of services. The proposed test bed made it possible to establish a real low-cost scenario for the realization and practical application in an educational environment of the concepts associated with PON networks.
