New species of Chrysotus Meigen, 1824 (Diptera: Dolichopodidae) from Sakhalin and Kuril Islands (Russia)

Abstract

The new species Chrysotus cilitibia Maslova et Negrobov, sp. n. from Sakhalin and Kuril Islands is described. The new species is close to Chrysotus gramineus, differing in color of legs, longer hairs on hind tibia, shape of the epandrium and morphology of the apical part of the phallus. The new species differs from Chrysotus pulchellus in longer hairs on hind tibia and shorter 3rd antennal segment.
