The combination of research methods conducted in psychology, economics, and neuroscience play an important role in deeper understanding of the causes and effects of emotional processes in decision making. In this regard, we are investigating the formation of new models of studies on the role of emotions and cognitive processes in decision making. When making choices, human beings regulate their cognitive decisions based on their emotional experience. Studies have mentioned both adaptive and non-adaptive effects of emotional experiences. Extreme emotions modify and adjust the cognitive processes that are part of decision making. Therefore, according to the existing scientific knowledge, when analysing decision-making processes, the complexity and importance of emotional processes should also be considered.
