Tests Using Spatial Median

Abstract

The multivariate multi-sample location problem is considered and two generalizations of the Lawley-Hotelling test statistic based on spatial median are studied under the null hypothesis and Pitman alternatives. An asymptotic comparison with certain type of multi-sample sign test statistics is also made. Finally, a Monte Carlo study is presented.
