Development Problems for “Inconvenient” Lands on the Urbanized Territories (the Example of Gomel. Republic of Belarus)

Abstract

This paper characterizes the factors of formation of engineering-geological conditions at the territory of the city of Gomel. The influence of natural conditions on the choice of the areas for their engineering development is considered. The results of study show the problems of development of “inconvenient” lands on the urbanized areas.
