Penerapan Media Loose Parts Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif Anak Usia Dini
Abstract
This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using Loose Parts media in improving cognitive abilities of early childhood (AUD) at RA An-Nashiriyah Sidoarjo. The cognitive ability that is the focus of the research is problem solving, which is often a challenge in AUD learning. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) involving 23 children in group B1 at RA An-Nashiriyah. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman technique. This research was divided into several cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the use of Loose Parts media significantly improved children's cognitive abilities, especially in terms of solving simple problems given by the teacher. This study concludes that Loose Parts media can be an effective tool in AUD cognitive development, with important implications for teachers in designing and implementing more interactive and creative learning strategies.
