FEATURES OF MAPPING APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT FOR MOBILE DEVICES

Abstract

Substantiated the basic concepts and terms web-mapping as a new scientific and practical direction in cartography. Shows the contents and features of web mapping technologies that implement the processes of preparation and publication, and then visualize and use of the maps in the Internet. The essence is considered, standard schemes of software interaction of the main components and functioning of cartographical web service are offered. The basic results of development of SGGA in this area are stated.
