Contagiousnes of Diseases in the light of Share’aa = تعدیہ امراض شرعی نقطہ نگاہ سے

Abstract

There are certain diseases which are considered contagious. In the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet (e), nothing has been clearly recorded about such diseases. In the holy Quran we find on hint that Plague has been described as the punishment of Lord In the Saying of the holy Prophet (0), we find few hints about such diseases. In one of the Sayings of the holy Prophet (*), it is recorded that there is no contagious deases. In another Sayings, it is mentioned to escape from leprosy. There is contradiction in these ahadith, but the Scholars/04a tried to adjust these contradictory ahadith. In this Paper an effort has been made to discuss and present the views of Islamic jurists and Modem Medical Science related to the contagious diseases.
