Abstract

A diachronic perspective on rhetoric, the oldest science of language in European space, entitles us to affirm that the Rhetoric Kingdom will only disappear with the disappearance of language as a defining human faculty. Whether it will suffer restraints or enjoy enlargements of its territory, the Rhetoric Kingdom and, in particular, its capital, the Literary Language Rhetoric, will always remain.
