ATLAS “RUSSIAN ARCTIC IN XXI CENTURY: NATURAL CHALLENGES AND RISKS OF DEVELOPMENT”

Abstract

The huge investigation of Arctic region of Russia was performed by team of researchers from Faculty of Geography of Lomonosov Moscow State University. This investigation resulted in creation of atlas “Russian Arctic in XXI century: natural challenges and risks of development”. In the first place this atlas was made for pupils and school teachers, letting them study modern features of natural environment and socio-economical processes. Atlas contains 7 sections, including both natural and socio-economical maps.
