Narayanan et al. show that local administration of miR-210 accelerates wound healing specifically in diabetic mice. They find that miR-210 restores the metabolic balance in diabetic wounds by activating glycolysis and cellular migration. This study presents miR-210 as a potential therapeutic option to treat diabetic wound healing.
