Los mexicanos somos… El chiste como autorepresentación y estereotipo del mexicano
Abstract
In this article we will question the various ways in which during the last 25 years, Mexicans have been represented themselves in the jokes that they had created, adapted or adopted to talk about what they are and what they have aspired to be. To this end, we will focus our study in some jokes comprising four archetypes: politics, foreigners, indians and machismo.
