Compound verbs are classified as simple (noun + auxiliary verb) compound verbs and descriptive verbs (verb + verb structure) in grammar books written with descriptive grammar method about Turkey Turkish. In conjugation, the overlapping of the two tenses with the help of the main auxiliary verb has been taken into account, and this verb conjugation form has been given a name considering the time value expressed by the two tense suffixes in the structure. In the naming and examination of compound verbs, the stem forms of the units that make up the structure, and the functions of the overlapping tenses of the conjugated / tense verbs are examined. In both titles, the analysis and naming were done in a way contrary to the structural features and the examination methods of linguistics. Within the boundaries of this paper, the structural analysis of the compound verbs will be made, the studies will be criticized and it will be revealed that the compound verbs are the same in structure and the difference is semantic depending on the verb's connection direction. By presenting a structural analysis of simple and compound tense verbs, the declarative function of the sentence structure will be emphasized and the points where simple tense verb conjugation and compound tense conjugation diverge will be emphasized.
