Abstract

Read online

The article focuses on the issue of how and to what extent the prevailing way of reading and interpreting the Bible within Reformed tradition has affected the biblical reading of Catholic tradition. In order to address this issue, the article analyzes the attitude towards the Greek version of the New Testament in the years following the Protestant Reformation, a time when the value of the original text was highlighted, and it, then, compares it with the attitude adopted in the last decades, when it has been studied in the light of a great number and variety of manuscripts.
