Stenosis of the hepatic venous outflow anastomosis is a rare complication after liver transplantation. Hepatic venous outflow obstruction affects 5.1%–7% of transplanted patients.[12] Clinical findings include massive ascitis and abdominal pain, and laboratory findings demonstrate altered liver function tests and coagulopathy. We report a case of hepatic venous outflow obstruction in a 4-year-old girl after living-related liver transplantation. The patient was treated with hepatic venoplasty and balloon dilatation.
