Abstract
This text reports of an extension project developed with teachers of daycare in the city of Ilhéus, BA - Brazil, in an agreement with the NBB Program of Culture of the Bank of the Northest of Brazil and the State University of Santa Cruz through its programme to encourage reading - PROLER.
