La società in Slovacchia nella fase dinamica del suo sviluppo dalla fine del XIX secolo al 1945

Abstract

If we compare Slovak society at the end of the 20th century with that at the end of the 19th century, we cannot fail to notice fundamental changes in all areas: in the economy, in social structures, in politics, in culture, in the way of life. It cannot be denied that these radical changes, whether we call them revolutions or coups, had a significant impact on society. The transition from the Habsburg Empire to the Czechoslovak state (and then to the Slovak state) was not a teleological process from the starting point to the desired destination. Therefore, the understanding of this process cannot be simple and cannot be achieved without the comparison and cooperation between different scientific disciplines.
