The paper describes the impact of a project carried out in the fourth year of Architecture major in order to develop professional skills through the integration of designing methodology and systematizing of training activities. Theoretical methods reveal the essential relationships of the object of the investigation; the historical-logical was used to account for the main trends of actual phenomena and events in passing years. The system approach allows to analyze the activities with a systemic conception; surveys and interviews were given to in-service professionals, employers, professors and students lead to collecting relevant data. The findings prove the reliability of the project, its didactic conception and the organization of academic activities related to preserving heritage into modules.
