Robustness of noisy quantum networks
Abstract
Quantum networks are the equivalent of classical ones but the links and nodes obey the laws of quantum physics. Using a modified version of Bernoulli-percolation theory, the authors investigate the robustness of quantum networks for the purpose of entanglement distribution over large network structures, and establish the critical quantum-repeater efficiency necessary to avoid abrupt loss of connectivity.
