Identificación y caracterización de los estudiantes universitarios con talento científico
Abstract
Abstract The present study is centered in the identification and characterization about students with scientific talent of the University of The Magdalena. The selection of the sample was made under the postulation by the investigators, teachers and partners, besides the members of the Program of young researcher and students with distinguished average academic. A psychological evaluation and an interview were used to collect the information. The taste was 27 students: 18 students with superior characteristics with deep interest and aptitudes toward the investigation and 9 with potential toward the investigation. The results obtained in this investigation allowed an approximation to the characterization of these students with the purpose to make a theoretical, methodology and practice base on this group. Beside it will allow the formulation of an intervention proposal that promotes the qualification and the development of their potentialities. Resumen Este artículo de investigación presenta los resultados de un estudio sobre la identificación y caracterización de estudiantes con talento científico de la Universidad del Magdalena. La selección de la muestra se hizo bajo los criterios de postulación por parte de investigadores, docentes y compañeros, ser integrantes del Programa de Semilleros de Investigación y ser estudiantes con promedio académico distinguido. Se implementó una evaluación psicológica y una entrevista. La muestra se formó de 27 estudiantes: 18 con características superiores en interés profundo y aptitudes hacia la investigación y 9 con potencial hacia la investigación. Los resultados obtenidos en este trabajo permitieron efectuar una aproximación a la caracterización de estos estudiantes con el fin de generar una base conceptual, metodológica y práctica acerca de las características de esta población educativa. Además permitirá la formulación de una propuesta de intervención que promueva la cualificación y el desarrollo de sus potencialidades en investigación.
