Ciberspace and ideological positions in on-line comments

Abstract

In this article we aim at establishing a relationship between the notions of ciberspace, technology and contemporary social practices based on the idea that on-line spaces make other forms of expression and interaction possible, which contributes to the formation and maintenance of identity. In order to do so, we analyze, through Bakhtin’s dialogical perspective, the interaction between users in the space provided for on-line comments in a piece of news broadcasted by an important on-line newspaper.--- DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.22409/cadletrasuff.2017n54a400
