Backgound and Objectives: The loss of urinary incontinence can affect up to 50% of women at some stage of their lives and about 60 % of women over 60 and this may influence sexual satisfaction. The objective of this study is to evaluate the influence of urinary incontinence and sexual satisfaction before the quality of life in menopausal women. Methods: The sample consisted of 28 women in climacteric period aged 43 to 70 years of age. These were submitted to three questionnaires to assess sexual satisfaction, type of UI and quality of life, the QS-f, physiotherapeutic evaluation forms in urogynecology and SF-36, respectively. Results: In 46.42% of women met the UI of the mixed type, 50% of respondents had changes in your sex life, 42.85% reported never feel like having sex, thereby also affecting the quality of social life. Conclusion: The present study highlights the importance of a treatment that achieves positive results in reducing the symptoms of urinary incontinence, thus benefiting the quality of life and sexuality of these women.
