POLITICAL FIGHT AND CONFLICT IN THE BLACK EARTH VILLAGE (1917 -1920)
Abstract
The article is devoted to ways of representing the memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War in modern Russian museums, forms of interaction with visitors and the use of modern technologies in modern museum space. The author considered various mechanisms of the formation and transmission of historical memory, implemented on the basis of the largest modern museums: “The Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 - Museum of Victory”, historical park “Russia is my history”, museum-reserve “Battle of Stalingrad” and “Museum of military equipment of the UMMC”. Being a heroic and iconic page in Russian history, the war of 1941-1945 occupies a special place in the memory of Russians, exerting a tremendous influence on the perception of the past, present and future of the motherland. The events of the Great Patriotic War are embodied not only in written sources, the works of scientists, films, but also in museum spaces, which, with the development and use of modern digital technologies, are transformed into scientific, educational and cultural centers that attract young visitors. The article uses the concept of historical memory, which makes it possible to comprehend the memory of the Great Patriotic War and its representation in the framework of modern domestic museums. The author concludes that the active work of museums aimed at shaping the heroic and tragic image of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the digitalization of the museum space, have a powerful influence on the formation of the image of the war of 1941-1945, contribute to the maximum expansion of the audience and increase interest in the history of the country, which is of particular importance in connection with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
