GEOPROCESSAMENTO PARA DETERMINAÇÃO DAS CLASSES DE DECLIVE DO MUNICÍPIO DE NAVIRAÍ-MS

Abstract

The objective of this project was determinate the slope classes in the Naviraí city – MS. It was performed by geoprocessing tools in a geographical information system, Idrisi for Windows version 32, and topographical letters supplied by IBGE. These letters were transformed in to digital shape by scanner and later georeferenced. Subsequently the level curves, drainage net work and the city limits were digitalized, by the digitalization tool in screen. Then level curves were interpolated by TIN method (Triangular Irregular Network). The slope classes determined and their respective areas were described as follows: from 0 to 3% in an area of 2.118,37 km2, from 3 to 6% in 782,95 km2, from 6 to 12% in 191,06 km2, from 12 to 20% in 15,65 km2, from 20 to 40% in 1,40 km2, and the highest slopes (40%) area of 0,16 km2. It was observed that the method used showed important results such as economy time, of human resources and equipments.
