Climatic and geographical features of the Russian Far East are characterized by increased humidity, high winds, low temperatures, significant oscillations in the magnetic field, a low content of microelements in water, especially fluorine (0,11-0,5 mg / l). At the same time the amplitude of the annual temperature fluctuations in the North is about 98-104ºC. A large area of the territory, and remoteness of the settlements, difficult transport scheme and the lack of professional dental professionals in some regions create difficulties in the organization of a dental care. The authors carried out a comparative analysis of the frequency and structure of the dental diseases in different age groups of local and migrant adult population of the Far East. In the Khabarovsk region were conducted a comprehensive dental examination of 1161 logical people (553 men, 608 women) of the local population (group 1) and 1000 (534 men, 466 women) who came from different regions of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia (group 2) with the experience of staying at least three years. In the Republic of Sakha (yakutia) survey was conducted among 855 people. The prevalence of caries in group 1 averaged 97,59 ± 0,45%, in the second group 92,6 ± 0,828%. Average DMFT index was 9,55 ± 0,32 in the 1st group and 2 - 7,07 ± 0,26 in the second one. This paper presents data and other dental diseases. The results indicate a high level of the prevalence of dental disease and the intensity of the population of the Far Eastern federal district, which dictate the need to develop and implement a comprehensive regional program to improve the provision of medical dental care and prevention of dental pathological processes of organs and tissues of the mouth, and oral and maxillofacial field.
