A case of “ICD storm” precipitated by lead noise generation due to fracture in the sensing/pacing circuit component of the ICD lead was successfully repaired by excluding the damaged sensing/pacing circuit component of the ICD lead and putting an additional parallel ventricular lead connected with the existing generator.
